Stone garden statues

Some of the most famous gardens throughout history have been adorned with stone garden statues. There are basically two different types of stone garden statues that are generally available to the public, solid and cast. Solid stone is the traditional medium of the sculptor, and it has many advantages. For one, few things are more long lasting and durable than is solid marble or granite. Because they are handcrafted, and the materials used are quite expensive, the cost is often too much for the average person to afford. Cast stone, on the other hand, is not only a much less expensive alternative, but it is also much lighter in weight, making it easier to transport and or move about the property.
